The complete turntable of injection has of course been completely renovated and its operation controlled with the greatest care in particular on the level of the flows of the full load injectors which must be optimum, the engine being configured at 200 CV. The most knowledgeable among you will have noticed the presence of a small collar with a red protection on the pipes of the injectors, which didn’t exist at first and which are meant to keep the pipes parallel to each other and to protect them from potential frictions on the exchanger, which frequently occurs (a small plastic bar fulfils this function on the models issued after 84 I believe, but not very efficiently). |

| Important detail, the aluminum "water tubes", which are very sensitive to corrosion, are thoroughly tested then cleaned before being put back. Fortunately no leak was detected because the "remaking" of these parts, even though they often have to be replaced, cannot be considered for the moment for lack of a subcontractor offering competitive prices (And yet the list of the companies we consulted is long). | ![]() |

The car is finally ready to receive its propulsion unit, whose reconditioning already started with the gear box. Its operation being perfect, only the sealing is re-examined. A traditional work is carried out, light "honing" of the mating planes replacement of all the joints, a particular attention being paid to those of transmission (version three lips of Alpine Turbo V6 AWG, available at the MPR Renault), their positioning having to be perfect. A few tricks for the assembly of the Cardan joints and the perfect condition of the latter will be enough to avoid the problems often encountered at this stage. |
